Introduction

Samsung, a leader in the tech world, wanted to make it easy for users to buy and explore NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) right from their smartphones. They asked us to design an NFT marketplace that fits into their Android App Store. The project is divided into two parts, and this case study focuses on the first part, which involves the NFT marketplace for the Samsung Android App Store. 

Problem

Buying and selling NFTs can be complex and risky. Many people need help knowing where to start or which platforms to trust. Samsung wanted to solve this by making a safe and easy-to-use marketplace.

Objective

The goal was to design an NFT marketplace that is:

• Easy for anyone to use, even if they are new to NFTs

• Safe and trusted, so people feel good about buying and selling

• Only for Samsung phones in Singapore

• In line with Samsung's app store rules

Research and Analysis

We learned two main things after studying other NFT marketplaces and talking to users. First, many existing platforms are not user-friendly and lack trust features, showing a need for a simpler and safer marketplace. Second, users want a marketplace that is easy to navigate and offers a wide range of NFT types, such as art and games. These insights helped us focus on creating a marketplace that is easy to use and trustworthy.

Conclusion

We design an NFT marketplace that is easy, safe, and only for Samsung users in Singapore. It fits nicely in Samsung's App Store and offers an excellent way for people to start or grow their NFT collection. This will excite more people about NFTs and make them feel good about using Samsung's platform.
